How do I know if career consulting is right for me?
Whether you are actively hunting for a new job or looking to get ahead in your current one, career consulting can be a helpful way to define goals, develop a strategy and have someone hold you accountable to specific actions items that will help you achieve your long-term career objectives.
What will I receive as part of my career consulting experience? Depending on the package you select, you will receive the following:
- Pre-consultation email questionnaire to define your goals and objectives for the experience
- One-on-one video or phone consultation time
- Post-consultation email follow-up with specific action-items
- Deliverables as listed in your selected package (resume editing, target companies, interview prep, etc.)
- PDF copy of RJR’s Job Search Guide containing valuable information on job searches, resumes and interviewing
Can I select my coach?
You are welcome to select your coach or we can assign one based on your background and career objectives.
What if I want to change the style or focus of my Career Consulting experience?
Your consulting experience is customizable based on the current needs of your job search or career goals. Feedback is always welcome, so please let your coach know if you’d like to make changes.
How soon can I get started?
If you’re ready to get started, you can select and purchase a package here. Once we receive your payment, we will reach out same day to schedule your initial session within five days of purchase. We guarantee that you will be able to book follow-on sessions with your coach with five days of each request.
Can I extend my package?
If you would like to extend your package, additional time can be purchased in hourly increments at a rate of $150/hour.
Will I get a job following completion of my Career Consulting experience?
We do our best to help you optimize your job search, but we do not guarantee that you will secure interviews or job offers following the completion of your work with us.
I found a job before completing my consultation hours; what are my options?
If you have secured a new job before the completion of your career consulting experience, we can repurpose outstanding deliverables and coaching time to focus on long term career planning. Alternatively, you can put a hold on your sessions for future use within one year of original purchase.
I’m dissatisfied with the service; can I get a refund?
If you are dissatisfied with the quality of your Career Consulting experience, please email consulting@rjrpartners.com with the reasons for your dissatisfaction. While we do not offer refunds for any reason, we will make every attempt to change your experience to ensure it is a positive one.
Will my job search and work with RJR be confidential?
All information discussed with RJR within your career consulting sessions will be treated as confidential. It will not be disclosed to a third party without the client’s prior permission, save where required by law.
